Mezzo-soprano Małgorzata Walewska and tenor Dominik Sutowicz at the opening of the Castle Opera in Szczecin
The opening of the Castle Opera in Szczecin (November 20th – November 30th) is a set of remarkable artistic events that will last for 11 days. Stars of the world’s opera stages will perform on three stages of the newly opened theatre. Among them is one of the most famous Polish mezzosopranos Małgorzata Walewska, who will sing at the premiere of G. Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera (November 20th), directed by Waldemar Zawodziński. Moreover, Małgorzata Walewska can be seen and heard during the unique opera gala (November 24th), which will consist of the greatest opera hits. By her side you will see soloists of Opera na Zamku and a young, brilliant soloist of the Polish National Opera in Warsaw and of the Grand Theater in Łódź, tenor Dominik Sutowicz.
