Mezzo-soprano Małgorzata Walewska will sing Azucena at the Arcaded Courtyard of the Royal Castle on the Wawel Hill in Kraków

The 20th jubilee edition of the Krakow Opera Summer Festival (9 June – 1 July 2016) will be held under the slogan Wagner-Verdi-Puccini. A tradition of the Festival includes the performances at the Arcaded Courtyard of the Royal Castle on the Wawel Hill. This year, Krakow Opera will present G. Verdi’s Il trovatore directed by Laco Adamik (17, 19 June, 2016) with Małgorzata Walewska as Azucena.
